Born in Livorno on the 18th of August, 1968, he graduated in Economics from the Università Commerciale Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and holds a master in Regional Planning and Real Estate from the Politecnico in Turin. He is chartered financial analyst, is member of the Italian journalist association (freelance) and author of a number of articles on real estate and territory requalification fields. Mr. Catella has gained 25 years of experience in the investment management and real estate sectors.
He is chairman of the real estate company COIMA, founded in 1974 and controlled by the Catella family. Mr. Catella is shareholder and chief executive officer of COIMA SGR S.p.A and founding shareholder of COIMA RES S.p.A. SIIQ. During the last 15 years, he was responsible for the Italian activities of the US group Hines, with assets under management of more than 5 billion Euros, acquisitions of more than 3 billion Euros, and negotiation of financing agreements of approximately 3 billion Euros. Among the development projects realized, Porta Nuova in Milan represents one of the most important real estate developments in Europe, with an investment totaling 2 billion Euros. Previously, Mr. Catella worked at JP Morgan in Milan, Caisse Centrale des Banques Populaire in Paris, Heitman at Chicago and at HSBC.
He is currently President of the FondazioneRiccardo Catella and on the Advisory Board of Università Bocconi and Assolombarda. Prior he was President of Urban Land Institute in Italy.
Graduated in economics from the "Federico II" University of Naples, Fulvio Di Gilio is CFO of COIMA RES since 2015.
He began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, later becoming Senior Manager in Deloitte & Touche's GFSI group. He played a similar role in Hines Italia SGR (later to become COIMA SGR) for five years, gaining significant experience in the real estate sector.
During his career he has carried out consultancy activities in due diligence, extraordinary operations such as mergers, acquisitions, securitization and IPO processes, special projects for the transition of the financial statements of listed and financial companies to international accounting standards, and has negotiated financing contracts for a value over two billion euros.
Graduated in business administration at the University of Rome, he studied real estate finance at the University of Amsterdam, UVA. Gabriele Bonfiglioli is currently Key Manager, responsible for the Investment Management of COIMA RES (since 2015) and Managing Director of Investment Management of COIMA SGR.
He worked in the SGR of the Beni Stabili group, where he was actively involved in the raising phase of the first fund in Italy with mixed contribution in kind and blind pool capital structure for international investors. Until 2014 he was a member of the global committee of the Hines group of Investment and Performance.
With over 12 years of experience in the real estate sector, he has followed transactions for over three billion euros. As part of his career he has negotiated rental contracts for over 100,000 square meters and loans for over one billion euros.
Graduated in economics and social sciences from Bocconi University, with a master's degree in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University Management School, Matteo Ravà is Key Manager, responsible for the Asset Management of COIMA RES (since 2015) and Managing Director of Asset Management of COIMA SGR. He has over five years of experience in the corporate finance sector at leading consulting companies, including Reconta Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche, performing assessment and advisory activities in extraordinary merger and acquisition transactions and in IPO.
In the real estate sector for over 15 years, Matteo Ravà has managed funds and assets for over 5 billion euros, has negotiated rental contracts for over 200,000 square meters of commercial use spaces and loans worth over 3 billion euros.
Born in Giulianova (TE) on the 19th of April, 1981. He graduated in Economics magna cum laude from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome and received a master in Merchant Banking from the LIUC Carlo Cattaneo University in Castellanza (VA). He joined the company in 2015.
He gained ten years of experience in the real estate sector working at Mediobanca, in the Corporate Finance—Real Estate & Related Business team and worked on real estate transactions for more than 2 Euros billion. In his career, he provided advice primarily on national and international transactions concerning the acquisition and sale of real estate portfolios and mergers, acquisitions and partnerships of real estate companies (both private and listed) and management companies.
